Market day
is an ongoing fund-raising food co-op that provides
“restaurant and deli quality” products for your family
while earning money for the PTO at the same time. When
comparing prices, please keep in mind that 10% of this
list price goes directly to the PTO. Market Day items
offered range from butcher quality meats and poultry,
convenience foods, snacks and nuts, cheeses, frozen
fruits and vegetables, delicious desserts and monthly
specials. Order forms are even nutrition coded to
indicate “heart healthy”
selections.
Volunteer
Opportunities: All parents can support Market Day by
placing orders. Please share your order form with
neighbors, friends, relatives and co-workers. Pick up
dates are listed in the calendar for each month; pick up
times are always 4-5 pm. Delivery is available for a
minimal charge. In addition, your help is always welcome
on pick up dates in order to unload the truck, sort and
stock food, and check orders. |

Many other
programs and volunteer opportunities arise throughout
the year. These are discussed and planned at the PTO
meetings held the first Thursday of each month at 7pm at
the Primary building. We welcome and encourage all
families to attend and childcare is always available at
the meetings. Your input and ideas are valued highly --
hope to see you there!
