The specific grade level
benchmarks and/or objectives listed in this
Curriculum Guide relate directly to the State
learning standards, goals and objectives.
These standards were developed consistent
with Illinois state law (Public Act 89-610) and
are based on the input of thousands
of teachers, administrators,
parents, employers, community leaders
and representatives of higher
education.
The statements in this
document define what Illinois citizens
and the Illinois State Board of Education believe all
students should know and be able to do as a result
of their public schooling.
Based upon the demonstrated
ability levels of the respective students,
the objectives included in this booklet may
be measured within a range of
introductory status to an identified level of
mastery.
This is a working document that will be reviewed and
evaluated through the school year. Based upon
these on-going evaluations, portions of this document
will be appropriately retained, revised
or deleted. |
